📚 WHAT TO READ THIS WEEK! 📚

Creatine Benefits For Women

Research shows that creatine can be even more beneficial for women than it is for men. Traditionally thought of as a bodybuilding or sports supplement, we now know the benefits of creatine and women’s health go far beyond this.

How To Reduce Cholesterol in 30 Days

If you're looking to reduce your cholesterol levels in just 30 days, the solution could be right in your kitchen. As a dietitian, one of the most effective tools I recommend for reducing cholesterol quickly is fiber-rich foods—especially the kind found in oats, beans, and fruits.

🥣 WHAT TO MAKE THIS WEEK! 🍽

Green Goddess Sandwich

I may be a dietitian, but even I struggle with quick and easy lunch ideas during the week. That’s why I’m obsessed with this Green Goddess Sandwich—it’s simple, delicious, and when made right, a perfectly balanced and healthy meal.

Cottage Cheese Banana Bread

This cottage cheese banana bread strikes the perfect balance between taste and health. Packed with protein from creamy cottage cheese and natural sweetness from ripe bananas, it’s as nutritious as it is delicious.

📢 Reader Question of the Week:

Do food intolerance tests actually work?

Short answer? Nope.

Longer answer? These tests are a waste of money. They measure IgG antibodies, which are just your body’s normal response to food exposure—not a sign of intolerance. So, when a test tells you you're "intolerant" to half your diet? It’s really just showing what you’ve been eating regularly.

The worst part? These tests often lead to unnecessary food restrictions, more confusion, and less dietary variety. No legitimate medical body recommends them.

If you suspect a food intolerance, the best way to figure it out is through an elimination diet or working with a qualified professional (hi! 👋).

So, save your money and skip the nonsense. Your gut (and wallet) will thank you!

Got a question you’d like me to answer next time? Hit reply and ask away!

“What most people don’t realize is that food is not just calories: It’s information. It actually contains messages that communicate to every cell in the body.”

Hi friends👋 As a dietitian, I never set out to work in weight loss. Honestly? I have qualifications that go far beyond that — gut health, fertility, prenatal nutrition… I’ve spent years specialising in these areas. But the truth is, I kept getting asked for help with weight loss. And when I did? People got incredible results. So even though it wasn’t my original plan, I’ve leaned into it — because helping people lose weight in a realistic, compassionate, and sustainable way is something I...

Hi friend👋 Sharing an ugly truth about myself today. Everyone that watches me on YouTube remarks that I come across as a very nice person...but wait. I’m a nice person… until I’m hungry. And I know we all get a little hangry now and then, but trust me I'm particularly bad! And here’s the thing — I know I’m not alone. A lot of people try to lose weight or improve their health by eating less, and suddenly they’re tired, irritable, and just plain miserable. Not because they lack willpower, but...

Haemochromatosis Awareness Week

Hi friend👋 I want to talk about something a little different today — something really personal. A few years ago, I was diagnosed with haemochromatosis, also known as iron overload. It’s a genetic condition where your body stores too much iron — and over time, that excess iron builds up in your organs and can cause serious damage. Here’s the thing: I wasn’t alone. My dad has it. So does my sister. And both of my brothers. But despite all that, I still went undiagnosed until my late 20s. The...
