Hi Reader
It's starting to get chilly, even here in Bermuda...🌴 And I'll be honest with you...
Shorter evenings and the holidays creeping closer make it a tad bit harder to stay on track with your health goals this time of year.
And it's not just me. The research shows most people gain 1-3 pounds during the fall and holiday season, and most never lose it. Over five years, that's 15 pounds.
But here's the good news...
The solution might surprise you: less really is more when it comes to sustainable weight loss.
For some reason we all love to overcomplicate healthy eating, but from my experience with clients, the most success comes from keeping it as simple as possible.
So in this weeks YouTube video I'm sharing five "lazy" habits you can start using right now to fall forward instead of falling behind. 🤸♀️
For me, the most interesting one was looking at our daily steps. Turns out trying to walk 15,000-20,000 steps a day might not give you the calorie burn you'd expect. Now I'm all for advocating for more movement, but I also want you enjoying life and not spending hours on a treadmill when that time may be better spent with friends and family this time of year.
And speaking of simple and sustainable, I'm sharing a ridiculously easy Salmon Rice Bowl recipe below that takes less than 20 minutes to make.
