5 January Habits Quietly Ruining Your Weight Loss Goals

Hi Reader 👋

This time of the year, everyone is jumping on 'healthy' habits.

And I love the intention but if you’ve ever thought,
“I’m doing everything right… so why is the scale not moving?”

then this new YouTube video was made specifically for you.

In it, I break down 5 very common “healthy” habits that I see constantly in my clients. Habits that sound good on paper, but often quietly stall weight loss.

We talk about things like:

  • Why some “healthy” recipes can actually push calories way higher than expected
  • How over-stressing about protein can backfire
  • The truth about carbs and when to eat them
  • Why grazing all day feels light but adds up fast
  • And why more cardio is not always the answer

And before you think, “Well that’s easy for you to say”, I share openly in the video that I’ve never found weight loss easy either. Between PCOS, hormones, life, stress, and real-world schedules, this stuff is rarely simple. Hard does not mean impossible, but it does mean we need better strategies.

If you’ve hit a plateau, feel stuck, or feel like you’re doing all the “right” things with no results, I really think this video will help shift your perspective in a healthy, realistic way.

And just a reminder:

Weight loss is not about being perfect. It’s about being consistent with an approach you can actually live with.

Hi Reader First things first... I owe you a little apology. I've been quieter than usual in your inbox lately. Life has been full (in the best and busiest ways), and I let the emails slip. I haven't forgotten about you though! And honestly, coming back with this week's topic felt right, because it's one I've been wanting to talk about for a while. Blood pressure. I know. It doesn't exactly scream exciting. It's not going to go viral. It's not a trending topic and its not going to get many...

Hi Reader I’m writing this from a plane on the way to Hawaii for my honeymoon ✨ I’ll be doing a lot of hiking and walking while I’m there… which actually ties in perfectly with the YouTube video I’ve been working on over the past few weeks. I’ve seen so many videos lately saying there’s a “right way” to walk for fat loss… And honestly, as a dietitian who really values keeping things simple… it’s getting a bit ridiculous. Apparently we need to be:- interval walking- fasted walking- in Zone 2-...

Hi Reader 👋 As a dietitian, I do believe supplements can play an important role. But honestly? Most people are wasting a lot of money on the wrong ones. I’ve just put together a full YouTube video and a detailed article breaking this down, so you can stop guessing and start being more intentional with what you take. Here’s the part that might surprise you… There is only one supplement I consistently recommend to almost everyone. And if you’re not taking it, it’s worth seriously considering. 👉...
