Your end-of-August recipe catch-up 🥄

Hi Reader,

Before August disappears, I wanted to give you a quick recipe catch-up.

I’ve pulled together four recent recipes, including a couple that have already picked up five-star ratings, plus a few others I think are especially worth saving.

And just a quick reminder: if you make one of my recipes, leaving a rating and review really helps support my small business and allows me to keep creating free recipes and nutrition content for you ❤️

And if there’s a recipe you’d love to see next, hit reply and let me know. I’m planning some easy midweek dinner recipes, so I’d love to hear what would be most useful.

🍫 No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Hemp Seed Bars

⭐️ Reader review: “Tastes very good. Prevents cravings because it's really quite filling. Also like the overnight oats for breakfast.” — Marny

🍓 Ninja Creami Smoothie Bowl

Cauliflower in a smoothie bowl sounds questionable... But it makes this incredibly thick & creamy, adds extra fiber and volume, and you really can’t taste it.

There’s no protein powder, and I’ve included a regular blender method too, so you don’t actually need a Ninja Creami.

🧀 Cheesy Chickpea Chips

Possibly the furthest I’ve taken my chickpea obsession so far 😂 These bake into one big crispy, cheesy sheet that you break into pieces and dunk into your favorite dip.

If you’re a crunchy-snack person, this is one to save.

🍍 Caramelized Pineapple Yogurt Bowls

If you’ve only ever caramelized bananas, try pineapple next. It goes warm, golden and sticky, and is so good over cold Greek yogurt with something crunchy on top.

It takes under 15 minutes, so it works just as well for breakfast as it does for a snack or dessert.

Thank you SO much for leaving a rating & review when you make my recipes! 🤍

Stay happy & healthy!

RECIPES | YOUTUBE | SHARE FEEDBACK Hi Reader, I was reading a new study this week and I was so excited to share it with you 📚. People with sarcopenia, meaning low muscle strength and/or low muscle mass, had about a 30% higher relative rate of dementia. Interestingly, having obesity as well did not seem to increase the risk much further. If you’ve been here a while, you’ll know I’m always talking about how important muscle is for metabolism, strength and independence as we age. But this study...

all my favorites | recipes | videos Hi Reader Welcome to The Sunday Spoonful 🥄 Every (or almost every) Sunday, I’ll be popping into your inbox with a recipe I think is worth making, whether it’s something brand new or an old favorite you may have missed. And I thought these Nut-Free Protein Balls were the perfect place to start. I’ve had so many requests for snack recipes made without nuts. Maybe it’s because of a nut allergy, a nut-free school policy, or you simply don’t love peanut butter....

Hi Reader Videos about weight loss, protein or fiber will always get views. They make for a good hook and a satisfying before and after. But my goal will always be to help as many women as possible, not please an algorithm. So here's the topic that almost never comes up: your bones. 🦴 And it's the one I care about most. Bone health doesn't announce itself. There's no bloating, no breakout, no number on a scale to warn you. It just quietly builds, or quietly erodes, for decades, completely out...
