Q. Maria, is Quorn actually healthy, given it's processed?

Processed does not equal unhealthy, despite what you may hear online. Tinned vegetables, frozen fruit, cheese, bread, olive oil, etc., are all processed foods. Quorn is a great protein option for vegetarian and vegan meals. Of course, there are many different Quorn products, so the nutritional value will change, but basic Quorn mince is πŸ‘ŒπŸ».

Q. Can you lower cholesterol with diet alone?

A. Yes, but it is not always enough. If levels are very high, medication may be needed. Speak with your GP. Remember, lifestyle is also important. Diet is only one piece of the puzzle.
